CaUgHt In ThE SuN

Caught in the Sun - Course of Nature

You're my distanced destination of choice
I'd give anything just to hear your voice
I couldn't pass you on the street
Without saying a word
Most times I missed the voice
That goes unheard

What if I missed you
You got caught in the sun
What if I did something
Never to be enough

People everywhere how could I be sure
Is it you that I have been looking for
What would it take for me to be comfortable
With you, with me you're the chosen one

What if I missed you
You got caught in the sun
What if I did something
Never to be enough

You are there for me this I hope and pray
You will wait for me, I wont be to late

What if I missed you
You got caught in the sun
What if I did something
Never to be enough

Will you wait for me
Or will I be to late this time
You are there for me this I hope and pray

How To: Choose A Good Partner

The best way to choose a good partner is using your emotional intelligence!

1. Sexual attraction is based on a primitive and powerful feeling that can "hijack" us.

It comes from the reptilian brain and is automatic and powerful because it relates to our survival. It is not, in itself, a reason to act or react. Don’t let yourself get "hijacked." Take a second look; get up to your limbic brain (bonding, parenting, relationships) and your neocortex (thinking)for this important decision. More on this later.

2. Touching is very important to our mental and physical health.

Choose a partner who is affectionate, who likes to touch you and be touched.

3. Most communication is nonverbal.

Choose a partner who looks at you with affection and kindness in their eyes. Emotions are contagious and largely transmitted through the eyes!

4. Think as well as feel your way through this decision.

Emotional intelligence means using all 3 of your brains -- including the neocortex, the thinking brain. Contrary to what some people think, EQ doesn't mean "only emotions." It means thinking as well as feeling. Consider compatibility -- family background, values, goals, how he or she takes care of their physical and mental health. Consider general living style. The find-a-roommate-site asks just a few questions. Among them are -- drug use, when you like to get up and go to bed, your level of neatness, and how quiet you like it to be. Pay attention. You’ll be living with this person. Do use your intuition. It's a strong guide. Take advantage of it. If you need to develop your intuition, work with an EQ Coach or Intuition coach.

5. Consider the emotional self-awareness of your partner, and their awareness of your emotions; their ability at empathy.

Studies show that one of the most predictive traits for compatibility is if one partner is able to sense the sadness of the other.

6. How optimistic is this person ?

Optimism is the facilitator of all the emotional intelligence competencies. In addition, optimists live longer, enjoy better health, heal more quickly, and accomplish more. Emotions are contagious, and optimism is a forcefield you want in your life. It can be learned.

7. Be intentional and expect it in your partner.

Intentionality is an EQ competency that means saying what you mean and meaning what you say. It also means being accountable for the motives behind your actions. You’ll need to be in touch with this yourself, and have a partner who is as well, because partnering requires a commitment, i.e., Intentionality. Intentionality means you’re not "allowed" to say, "I didn’t mean to ..." High-level skill. Good one to look for.

8. Consider the level of your intended partner’s resilience.

You’ll be together a long time, through ups and downs, and life can throw some curves. How do they manage adverse events and setbacks? Do they bounce back eventually? Have they been able to grow through adversity, not just go through it?

9. How do you and your partner manage anger--your own anger and that of the other?

Studies show that the most successful couples are those who are able to soothe one another instead of agitating and escalating in an argument.

10. How balanced is their life?

Do they combine learning, working and leisure? Studies show that people who die in their 5th and 6th decade have this life trajectory: school, then work, then leisure. Resilient seniors combine all three during all stages of life. You'll want the one you love to be around a long time!

"Till"

Side A is one of my favorite OPM band, and this song entitled "Till" is the one I love most among their songs. Here it goes and I hope you'll like it! Enjoy listening!

We've been together
For quite sometime now
And you still shine in my eyes

I searched all my life
'Cause in my heart I knew
I'd find someone like you

Refrain:
And if I could live (Cause if I could live)
My life all over again
It would still be with you
No one else
Can offer you a heart so true
No one else
Can love you like I do

Chorus:
'Till the sun fails to shine
'Till the clock runs out of time
I will still be in love with you
'Till the moon and the stars
Fail to brighten up the night
I'll still be inlove with you

Bridge:
La, la, la ('till all the seas run dry)
La, la, la ('till flowers touch the sky)

I can see my tomorrow's
In the palm of your hand
There's only you and I

We'll hold forever
And know we will never
Lose the love that we have

(Repeat Refrain, Chorus and Bridge 2x)

.....I'll still be loving you

Ely Buendia Now In Stable Condition!

The Eraserheads Reunion is all over the radio and TV. I was shocked when I found out that Ely collapsed in the middle of the Reunion concert. I want to know the details on what actually happened to him despite of knowing that he had heart surgeries and heart attacks in the past. I'd like to share this article which gives detailed information on what really happened to Mr. Ely Buendia.

Ely Buendia is in stable condition and fans of the legendary Eraserheads frontman can now have a collective sigh of relief.

"He's ok. Please don't worry," assured Pupil co-manager Day Cabuhat to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a short text message sent last August 30. Buendia was rushed to the Makati Medical center last August 30, after reportedly experiencing chest pains while in the middle of the Eraserheads' 20-minute break during the band's highly anticipated reunion concert held at the Fort Bonifacio Global City open field in Taguig City.

According to some of the accounts given by close friends who were present backstage, Buendia reportedly collapsed and had to be put on a stretcher. In a TV interview after the concert, bandmates Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro said that they saw Buendia being attended by paramedics with his blood pressure being chacked. Minutes later, they saw the singer-song writer being rushed to an ambulance.

Without their main singer, the three remaining band members accompanied by Ely's sister, Lally, were left without no choice but to face the thousands of fans who were anxiously waiting for the second set. They announced the concert's cancellation and asked everyone to offer a minute of silence for Buendia.

Ely had gone through heart surgery early last year after suffering a heart attack in an out-of-town gig with his current band, Pupil. But his recent health dilemma was being linked to stress and fatigue factors. Two days before the reunion concert, Ely's mother, Lisette Buendia, passed away. That combined with all the stress and pressure leading to the actual concert apparently took its toll on the enigmatic frontman. Also, on the same day of the event, the Eraserheads went to the venue to conduct a sound check and a final rehersal which reportedly lasted until 3 a.m.

A close friend of the band theorized that Ely's unstable emotional state combined with the stress of having to deliver in front of rabid fans perhaps overwhelmed Buendia causing his health to breakdown in the face of gnawing pressure.

Ely Buendia rushed to the hospital in the middle of Eraserheads reunion concert

Buendía joined Marasigan, Adoro, and Zabala for a one-night only reunion show on August 30, 2008 at the Fort Open Field, Taguig City. The concert, however, was cut short after Ely collapsed due to emotional stress. They were already halfway of a planned 30-song setlist as Ely reportedly collapsed backstage during a break and was rushed to the Makati Medical Hospital. He was, however, reported to be in stable condition. Buddy had checked on Ely in his tent right after they went to their planned 20 minute break and saw that he already was on an oxygen mask with paramedics checking his blood pressure. As he left and came back, paramedics were already taking Ely on an ambulance. Bandmates Buddy, Raimund and Marcus further said that they had no idea that Ely was already having difficulty performing.

PEP reported that Buendia's sister, Lally, broke the news to the concert-goers at the Fort Bonifacio Global City Open Field.

EcHo

There's something about the look in your eyes
Something I noticed when the light was just right
It reminded me twice that I was alive
And it reminded me that you're so worth the fight

My biggest fear will be the rescue of me
Strange how it turns out that way, yeah

Could you show me dear... Something I've not seen?
Something infinitely interesting
Could you show me dear... Something I've not seen?
Something infinitely interesting

Theres something about the way you move
I see your mouth in slow motion when you sing
More subtle than something someone contrives
Your movements echo that I have seen the real thing

Your biggest fear will be the rescue of you
Strange how it turns out that way, yeah

Could you show me dear... Something I've not seen?
Something infinitely interesting
Could you show me dear... Something I've not seen?
Something infinitely interesting

How Guys Flirt

HOW GUYS FLIRT:

1. He stares at you a lot.

2. He hits you a lot. (just play hitting )

3. He uses the first thing that pops into his head to start a conversation with you

4. He yelled, "Hi!", to your mum that day she picked you up from school.

5. He blew off his buds to go see "Brown Sugar" with you because you couldn't get another girl pal to go and didn't want to go alone.

6. He tries to make you laugh anyway even if he gets hurt in the process

7. His voice gets softer when ever you two talk.

8. You hung up on him. He called you back.

9. You were invited by him to a group outing.

10. He called you to talk about nothing at all.

11. He imitates your laugh. OK, you do laugh PRETTY LOUD. Which makes you laugh even harder...

12. He remembers little things you mention in casual conversation

13. He sometimes stares straight into your eyes.

14. He uses every possible way to touch you (your hair, face, thighs, KNEES,etc.)

"LeTTiNg YoU Go"

The things that make us deep
Are the things that we don’t speak
Well, you and I
We don’t feel like we used to
Every day’s a memory gone by
What they are to me
Too many words to ever speak
So I’m here inside
And I’m still alive

Chorus:
How do we make it all real
I just can’t decide
I want to know you for a while
Instead of letting you go again
but I can’t be stuck here forever, you know
I’m on fire, I am
I’m letting you know
I’m letting you go
I watch you go

The things that bring us together
Only wait to tear us apart
Time goes passing over us

We get lost within our hearts
And nobody ever can remember
How we got there strong or not
We’ve gone limber and bent ourselves
Towards our differences now
Pulling us apart

Repeat Chorus

They always try to tell you
You’ll be aright in time
But what do they know
They’re just another
That’s missing something on the inside

And how we’ll ever be
Better than a memory
Is the question
You will ask me
You will ask me in your dreams

In your dreams
You will ask me in your dreams
I will see you in your dreams

Repeat Chorus

I Can't Get Over You!

My Featured Song Of The Day!
I Can't Get Over You By: I.B.U.

(Verse 1)
Silly dreams I wake.
It was just a memory of how we used to be baby.
Early in the morning you would always call me.
And say how much you've missed me.

I think about, the times we shared.
Girl I'd give the world to have it all back again.
Even though the seasons been passing by,
I can't seem to get you off my mind.

(Chorus)
I can't get over you.
No I can't get over you.
Over and over I've tried to say goodbye.
(No, I can't. No I can't)
I can't get over you.
No I can't get over you.
Night after night I've asked myself why?
(Why I can't get over you.)

(Verse 2)
What can I do to stop this madness inside?
Should I go out? Should I stay at home?
Just the thought of you with another guy,
Makes me lose control, I'm going out of my mind.

When we're together, you made me feel better than anyone could ever.
All the pain and troubles, just burst away like bubbles baby.
And when the seasons are standing still,
It feels like eternity in my mind.

(Chorus)

(Rap Bridge)
Ever since the day we said
Farewell my life's been filled
With silence, Can't deny it
Laws of love and I can't defy it.

Driving down to your house one day,
Trying to think of sweet words to say,
Then I saw in your eyes that look of demise.
Now I can't stop thinking 'bout the times we -

Made out by the fireside,
Had dinner by the candlelight,
Broke up and made up so many times,
All vanished in just one night.

Now what am I supposed to do,
In a nightmare that I thought would never come true?
You used to say time heals all wounds.
Tell me why I can't get over you.

(Chorus x 2)

2005 R&B Group Of the Year, New York Intl Music Festival
2004 Best R&B Group, New York Intl Music Festival
2003 Winner of the State sponsored Chicago Music Opportunity Project

IBU, short for Inspired By U, the name the chose as they claim to be inspired by the people they sing to. IBUs uniquely rich harmonies and outstanding dance skills quickly earned them the distinction as Chicagos most sought after Asian-American performing group. Now on its 5th year, IBU continues to make headlines, thrusting itself more and more to the forefront of the mainstream music scene. WGN/WB Channel 9 Chicago called them Chicagos hottest boy group, and 102.3FM introduced them as Asians with Soul. In November 2004, IBU competed with 300 artists from around the world at the New York International Music Festival in Manhattan and was voted as the best R&B Group, becoming the first ever and the only Asian-American group to ever win at the festival. In 2005, the festival named them R&B Group of the year. The year before, IBU won the state-sponsored, the Chicago Music Opportunity Project, with Michelle Williams of Destinys Child as one of the judges. Since then, IBU performed at the biggest African-American festival in the country, the Bud Billiken Parade, the prestigious Chicago Music Awards in 2004, and at Chicagos biggest festival, the Taste of Chicago, at the Illinois Lottery Stage in 2004 and at the FOX TV Bandstand in 2005. The group has become a favorite by the world series champion Chicago White Sox, performing the National Anthem at eight games in the 2005. This year they returned to the US Cellular field for three more games, a total of 11 games. Their songs were ranked number 6 by Hot 97.7FM in the bay area and has been played in many radio stations in the US, Asia and Europe. The group has performed from the bay area to the big apple and is one of the busiest Asian American performing groups in the country today. IBU was featured on MTV2 On The Rise. The group has been seen internationally, on various shows ABS-CBN/The Filipino Channel, as well as the International Channel. They made their Manila radio debut on Wave 89.1FM in July of 2004 and continue to be on regular rotation till this day. IBU's songs have ranked 6 on Hot 97.7FM's playlist in April 2006, Voted 13 on 97.3FM Missouri, and 3 on WCH Radio's top 30 songs of 2006. IBU has shared the same stage dozens of Philippine superstars. They have appeared on Fox TV, WGN, Cable Access TV and various TV stations in Honolulu, San Francisco and Seattle. IBU has released its first solo album entitled Redefined, in August 2005, their fourth recording project. The group is featured in several dozen internet music sites including soundclick.com where they have been listed as one of the hottest signed bands for over four years. Chicago Tribune ran a story about the groups struggle to overcome stereotyping of the Asian-American Artists by the Mainstream Music Industry and media in November 2004. IBUs most profound testimonial comes a fan, Robyn, who wrote When you add handsome men with different unique voices, take them out of the cultural environment and throw them into an industry and genre dominated by the African-American community, you have nothing but ingredients for success. I have been exposed to many cultures who attempt R&B, however, none have quite mastered it like you three!

Song of the day!
DISTANCE BY: FAKTION

It's not the way you see me
It's the way you let me down
I can't believe that it hurts this much
When I hear your voice
You're calling out to me
Though you know I can't be with you
So please don't leave
Just remember to keep some distance
And remember you've
Already had your chance with me
I hope you see
I could never be without you
Just try to see the way that I see
It's not the way you need me
It's the way you drag me down
I can't believe it hurts this much
I still hear your voice
You're calling out to me
Though you know I can't be with you
You're a constant echo
That I hear ringing in my ears
I see you
I see the way you see me
You're a constant hurting
That gets the best of me
I see you - I see the way you see me

Next To The Candlelight

(Verse 1)
I wake up from my dreaming,
With one thing on my mind.
That one day you would be next to me,
Sitting next to the candlelight.

Running through the stormy rain,
I see your face smiling back at me.
I wrote you a letter yesterday.
Please take the time to read it.

(Chorus)
Next to the candlelight,
We will toast our love forever.
Next to the candlelight,
In my arms is where you belong.

So many things will be remembered,
And so many slip away.
The glow in your eyes will never fade away.
Baby next to the candlelight.

(Verse 2)
I pick a flower from the garden,
As I walk onto the shore.
Memories of the sunset,
Bring smiles more and more.

No need to hurry lets take it slow.
Baby you'll see that my love will grow.
Days get colder as I realize.
Seasons just pass me by.

Next to the candlelight,
We will toast our love forever.
Next to the candlelight,
In my arms is where you belong.

I'll give you my mind, my heart, and soul,
To show you just how much I care.
And in an instant you know that I'll be there.
Baby next to the candlelight.

(Bridge)
Love can be so confusing.
How can I truly know?
You've given me so much.
It'll take me forever to ever let you go.

So many things will be remembered,
And so many slip away.
The glow in your eyes will never fade away.
Baby next to the candlelight.

-> IBU is not that popular but hey! I'd say their songs are great! Hmmm Oh well I just want to share you peeps this song which popped into my mind when I was looking at some photos which I think I wont be looking at anymore. Anyway I hope you like it! http://www.imeem.com/jaynin1/music/1OWA_V5F/ibu_next_to_the_candlelight_full_version/

What Song Touches Your Heart?!?

When i feel down or whenever I'm sad, I listen to music. It makes me feel good and unwind. There are songs which brings back good and sad memories from the past. Sometimes you smile and laugh, sometimes it makes you cry. The best thing about it is that it makes you realize the things which you shouldn't and should have done. But keep in mind that we can never bring back the things that belongs from the past, instead look forward and face each new day with an open heart and by thanking God for all the experiences and blessings that came into our lives. Learn from our mistakes, don't make the same mistake again and always bring good memories to treasure. It's never too late to change, for change is always constant.

The songs that touches my heart are the songs from the freestyle, they are one of my all time favorite. I also love and admire the songs of Nikki Flores because I can really relate to it. How about you? What do you do whenever you're down? And what song touches your heart?

The OLYMPIC Fashion Parade

Yesterday, My sister and I watched the opening of Olympics through online streaming. I noticed the outfits of the people who participated in the Olympic parade. Some of them looked good, some looked funny. Thanks to yahoo for having Cameron Spencer/Getty Images shots in the internet. Check em out and tell me what you think about their outfit.

Team Great Britain arguably had the best uniforms of the night: simple navy suits with white jackets and matching belts

Team USA looked dapper in their navy Ralph Lauren sports coats and white berets.

The fashion-forward French women donned berets, and trendy leather wraps.

The Spanish men stood out in glowing red suits and matching shoes.

The Swiss channeled a skateboarder look.

The Spanish women's bright yellow jackets matched their enthusiasm.

The Aussies opted for comfy sandals instead of formal footwear.

Team Netherlands' orange ties popped against their gray suits.

The Germans were also decked out in gray and white. The water polo accessories were unofficial.

Argentina also opted for white with light-blue stitching.

Team Italy made a bold choice: tailored jackets and cargo pants.

The Georgian delegation kept cool in all white.

Love?

love

by: Ms. Ayyi Gardiola

Love Is When...

Love is when you've waited

for all of what seems so long

Even when he's holding another

you still know that you belong

Love is when you hold your ground

when he's not by your side

You love him and see him for him

even though he lied.

Love is when your still yourself

while speaking your mind to him

And when you split you still know

he'll be back again

Love is when your closer

to family and friends

When he has made you stronger

and gave you the cure to mend

Love is when you give him space

and give him room to breathe

When he looks to you knowing

that you're the one who believes

Love is when you mean so much

and try your best to make him see

When you take the pain of being put down

and you are still happy

Love is when he comes back to you

realizing he was wrong

When he holds you and lets you know

A Moment With God!

Last Sunday the FPS society held a sunrise photo shoot at punta Dumalag Pawikan Sanctuary. Everybody were so busy setting up their tripods and cameras waiting for the sun to come out. T'was a very fine morning with drizzles from the sky. I was quiet sitting beside Coicoi who is also preparing to have a nice shot of his own. When the sun popped out, I thought of God! Talked to him in my mind, thanking him for all the blessings he gave me, for the guidance and the strength that he gives me in every problem that I encounter. Until Coicoi called me and held me the camera, yahoo my turn! Here below are the shots I got during the sunset shoot. Hope you'll love it peeps!

Cleaning is the activity of making things clean. And it means not dirty, free from dirt or impurities, unadulterated, or free from infection. I think none of us wants to live in a dirty environment right? But to some, cleaning is a hassle and is very tiring. Others say that cleaning is time consuming and needs cleaning products that consumes energy BIG!

Well, worry no more and Clean with a Conscience with Dirt Devil- AccuCharge Technology. Soaring energy prices combined with increased awareness have consumers looking to trusted brands for products that conserve energy and perform well. It's this philosophy that led Dirt Devil to design the first ENERGY STAR(R) approved cordless product line.AccuCharge Technology is a high-efficiency charging system that saves time and money while you do your part in cleaning and to reduce energy consumption at the same time! Dirt Devil has developed this new energy efficient, Energy Star approved line of cordless cleaning products. The AccuCharge system protects batteries from degradation, meaning a longer battery life and effective runtime throughout its life time.
