The Mindanao Independent Filmmakers Circle will be presenting "Cultural Identities in Documentary Films" with the Award-winning filmmaker Mr. Auraeus Solito (Director of Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros, Tuli, Pisay) will be the guest speaker in the forum on April 26, 2008, 9am at the Institute for Indigenous Peoples Education. He will be screening his critically acclaimed documentary Basal Banar (Sacred Ritual of Truth).The forum is open to non-workshop participants.
